Jyoti T.'s Story

Jyoti comes from a poor family background in the mid-west of Nepal. Her widow mother faces challenges in providing basic needs such as food, education, and healthcare in daily life. She lost her father, who had been supporting her financially, emotionally, and socially. After her father’s death, it is challenging to survive in daily life as well as for her education. Her mother works as a laborer in others’ houses, and her elder brother left home and went to India. Her mother goes to work in the morning and comes back in the evening; because of that, there is a probability she might be at risk of trafficking. Currently, she is studying in grade eight and wants to complete her secondary education. She also began to attend Sunday school at church and she herself requested the help of our partner to get the help she needs.
