Given is a 11 year old boy from rural Zomba and lives with his parents. He is doing well, but walks a very long distance to school every day because it’s the only school in the area. He relies on his mother for school necessities, which is not always possible because she struggles to buy food for their family. Given is not able to be equipped with school supplies, due to lack of money. He often misses meals because they do not have sufficient food.
