Natasha A.'s Story

Natasha, a 10-year-old girl, lives with her parents who struggle financially. Her mother sells fresh groceries, and her father is a seasonal driver with no permanent job. Despite their efforts, Natasha’s father spends all the money on rent and daily survival, leaving no room for school. Natasha is one of four children and often loiters picking bottles in slums to help her mother raise money for her education.
Natasha is a brilliant girl whose dream is to become a nurse to help sick children in hospitals. However, chances to attaining this dream are minimal given the fact that her parents are struggling financially and unable to help her get quality education she desires. Natasha would wish to change her family’s story and hopes that education and support will help her achieve her dreams.
