Josephine N.'s Story

Josephine is a bright and ambitious young girl living with her biological parents in a family of six children. Despite her desire and love for learning, Josephine’s educational journey has been hindered by financial difficulties. She is currently out of school, unable to attend classes due to overwhelming debts accumulated from unpaid school fees.
The situation is so sad that Josephine was denied her report card, a constant reminder of the opportunities slipping away from her. Her parents work tirelessly as casual laborers on other people’s farms, earning just enough to put food on the table and meet some basic needs.

At home, Josephine sleeps on old, worn-out polyethene bags. Despite these challenges, Josephine’s dream of becoming a teacher remains unfulfilled dream. She is eager to learn and contribute positively to her community.
