Andrew W.'s Story

Andrew is an 8-year-old boy who lost his mother at a young age to maternal mortality while she was giving birth.
This marked the beginning of Andrew and his siblings’ misery. Andrew’s sorrow was exacerbated by his father’s remarriage and drinking habits. Andrew has been in constant agony since then, forced to rely on their stepmother, who is unconcerned about their well-being. Andrew is currently out of school and living at the mercy of well-wishers. He has recently not returned to school as expected, and a community leader has voiced this concern with our social worker.

Andrew is an extremely bright child who enjoys studying. Andrew is living a perilous life and requires the assistance of FCW to protect him from potential future conditions caused by exposure to childhood trauma.
Sponsorship would provide this child with an opportunity to change his life. We believe it will be his turning point towards hope and a better life.
