William K.'s Story

William is a young ambitious boy who has been a victim of circumstances of poverty and alcoholism. William lives with his single father after a long separation of his parents due to alcoholism by his mother.William’s father is a casual laborer who digs for people, makes bricks and helps clean people’s homes to earn an income. He has however been resilient through the years and tries to support his son stay in school since he values education.William’s academic report cards shows that he is a brilliant child. He longs to study and attain an education to help attain his dream of becoming a doctor. He has recently been collecting old empty plastic bottles in the long holidays to have them sold so that he can get some money to go back to school. William’s desire is to go to school and get an education without being sent away from school due to lack of fees.
