Monica M.'s Story

Monica lives with a single mother. They are squatters and they do not have any property to their name. Monica’s mother does not have a stable source of income. Most of Monica’s siblings dropped out of school due to the mother inability to pay school fees.
Monica’s father is not in the picture and therefore does not give any child support which makes Monica’s mother to fully struggle to support her daughter at school.
Monica is often sent back home due to failure of the mother to pay school fees. The mother is also unable to provide a well-balanced meal to the children in her home.
At the time of assessment Monica was at home. This is because her mother had failed to pay school fees and scholastic materials.
We recommend Monica for sponsorship and we believe that an opportunity though FCW will help her break the circle of poverty in her family.
