Lakib B.'s Story
Lakib is the last born of 8 siblings. The parents of Lakib also take care of two grandchildren. The family’s source of income is peasant farming. Five of the siblings dropped out of school and married and yet they are of a school going age. This is largely because of the parents’ financial inabilities to provide the necessary school requirements as well as basic needs to keep them in school.
Lakib has a dream of becoming a teacher but there are no measures in place to stop him from following that trend of dropping out of school like his elder siblings. We hope Lakib’s dream of becoming a teacher can come true if he gets sponsorship support and It is upon this that we recommend him for sponsorship
