Benny H.'s Story

Benny is a courageous 6-year-old boy from India who is currently in kindergarten. He faces unique challenges as he is both deaf and mute, requiring special attention and education to support his development. Benny’s life has been particularly difficult due to his father’s behavior. As a painter who struggled with alcoholism, his father often abused both Benny and his mother, leading her to leave their home and seek refuge at her own mother’s house.
Despite these hardships, Benny’s mother remains a pillar of strength and is the sole provider for their family. She is dedicated to ensuring that Benny receives the care and support he needs, but the financial burden of providing for a special education is overwhelming.
