Akrit R.'s Story

Akrit Rai is the youngest of three children, with two older sisters. He lives with his mother, who works hard to provide for her family. Akrit’s father left the family after marrying another woman and no longer provides support. To make ends meet, his mother works in other people’s homes doing housework. Despite her efforts, it is difficult for her to provide for all three children and cover the cost of Akrit’s education.

When we learned about Akrit and his family, we wanted to help. We believe every child deserves the opportunity to receive an education and hope for a brighter future.
