Mary N.'s Story

Mary lives with her younger brother and their single mother. Since 2020, when Mary’s father abandoned the family, her mother has struggled to provide for her children. The family currently lives in a small makeshift house constructed from timber, which is the only shelter her mother can afford.

To support her children, Mary’s mother works as a nanny for neighbors, but her income is not enough to cover rent, food, and school expenses. As a result, Mary has not been able to attend school consistently. Before reuniting with her mother, Mary was exposed to child labor, which further disrupted her education and placed her at risk.

Despite these hardships, Mary dreams of becoming a teacher. Sponsorship would give her access to education, stability, and renewed hope for the future. Supporting Mary would not only transform her life but also help secure a brighter tomorrow for her entire family.
