Charles M.'s Story

Charles is a young learner in Primary Two who lives with his parents and four siblings. His parents depend on casual farm work, earning small amounts of money or food in exchange for labor, which allows the family to meet only their most basic needs. They currently stay in a two-room house provided by someone working abroad, but the family lives with uncertainty, fearing they may be asked to leave once the owner returns.

Providing for school requirements has been a constant challenge, as the family’s limited income barely covers daily necessities. The situation became more difficult when Charles’s father was involved in a road accident and suffered a broken leg, leaving him unable to work. As a result, the responsibility of caring for the family now rests entirely on the mother, and Charles has missed several days of school. Sponsorship would help ensure Charles can attend school consistently and give his family much-needed stability during this difficult time.
