Shakur K.'s Story

Shakur life changed in 2023 when his biological parents separated. He was left in the care of his father, while his mother’s whereabouts remain unknown and she provides no support. The family has also faced land disputes, resulting in their land being unlawfully taken, as they are unable to afford legal assistance.

Despite these challenges, Shakur’s father is committed to caring for his children and providing for their basic needs. He earns a small income by working in other people’s gardens, which helps cover necessities such as food, medication, and school-related expenses. Sponsorship would bring meaningful and lasting change to his household by easing financial burdens and providing opportunities for discipleship, helping the family grow in their understanding of the love of Jesus Christ.
