Lahatra is a gentle and caring young boy who lives with his family in a very poor neighborhood. His parents work hard and do everything they can to provide for him, but their resources are limited. At times, they are only able to provide one meal a day, and paying for school has been especially difficult.
Even when he was unable to attend school, Lahatra showed a loving concern for his family and wanted to help his mother in any way he could. Though he is still very young, his compassion and desire to support his family are already clear. Lahatra dreams of going to school regularly so he can learn, grow, and one day help improve his family’s future.
